Hey everyone and welcome back at the new Emma Source! We would like to invite you to celebrate with us our first anniversary (the sentence sounds so stupid but I don’t care). I actually can’t believe we’ve come so far, I’ve waited for this moment so long and now here it is and I still can’t believe we’ve done it. Wow.
As you can see we have a new, summer-ish layout and I have to say that I love it. The structure is similar to the layout at my other site, but I hope you all have nothing against it. I just love this style, the background, the colors and this picture (which Iza and I love; that’s why we chose it) from the Elle Girl shoot Emma did in 2005. By the way, I hope all those visitors who were like about to freak out just because they didn’t like the last one (believe me, I didn’t as well) and also had to tell me that in an, um, unfriendly and ultimately desperate way. I hope you noticed I read all of yout comments and now don’t tell me this layout looks like shit as well. Not on July 15th, ‘kay? 
To all other visitors – I’m sorry for the way I sound, I am just a bit tired of the work I had to do in the past weeks, just so the (new) site is better than ever.
New site means new content as well. I have to say that I changed everything that was possible to change and added new content as well. What about a page completely dedicated to Emma’s mobile phone? I know, pretty useless, but I was crazy as hell when I created this one. However, you never know what people wanna know about Emma. So just enjoy it.
While I was thinking about how I could make a complete make-over I thought it would be fun to transfer the site into PHP (one of the main reasons was the “faster page-loading”) and use WordPress. And here we go! No CuteNews, no .htm pages anymore. I feel kinda free, honestly.
When we were on hiatus, I received many comments and mails about the gallery. I knew it wasn’t working and I also knew why. I just had to make a new gallery – and please don’t kill me for that – but I didn’t manage to upload all thos 12500 pictures we had. In fact we’ve lost about 1500 pictures when we changed hosts. But please don’t worry, Iza and I will find them again, whatever it takes. I will also upload the rest of the pictures I didn’t have the time for the next weeks.
With this comeback we are going to add even more content than we have now whenever we have something new. That means a new graphics resource is coming very soon, a video archive, a community and much more including contets and other cool stuff.
At the end I would like to ask you to leave comments. Even a short “Awesome!” would make our hearts beat faster because we simply love your feedback and we need it as air to breathe, so just take a minute to write your thoughts about the new layout, content and everything you have in your head – everything about the new Emma Source.
